Has a sprawling campus spread over 2100 acres having a self contained township with over 22,000 inhabitants including faculty, employees and students.
Comprises departments/centres/schools, spanning engineering, science, humanities, management, legal and medical disciplines.
Engaged in imparting undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral education as well as in carrying out sponsored and consultancy research in collaboration with national and international academic institutes, and industries.
Awarded the "Institute of Eminence (IoE)" status by the Ministry of Education (Government of India) in 2019.
