Major research areas: Refrigeration and Liquefaction of Gases,Superconductivity and Superconducting Devices, Vacuum Technology, Gas Separation and Purification, Natural Gas and Hydrogen Energy, Air Separation, Cryogenic Process Engineering, Cryogenic Instrumentation
Engaged in imparting undergraduate, postgraduate (MTech and MS) and doctoral education as well as in carrying out sponsored and consultancy research in collaboration with national and international academic institutes, and industries.
Conducts continuing education programs at the national and international levels for industry professionals, university teachers and students.
